The Spirit of Floral Park

Since its incorporation in 1908, the Village of Floral Park has grown into a community rich with pride, embodied with spirit, and overflowing with individuals who are truly committed to making our Village a great place to live. 

In 1996, in celebration of the vitality of our community, the first annual Spirit of Floral Park Festival was held during a beautiful fall weekend in September.  An important part of this weekend was the presentation of the Spirit of Floral Park Award to individuals, organizations, and institutions in recognition of their contributions to the growth and energy of our community.  The opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of community members has continued, and it is with great pleasure that we share with you the following list of Spirit Award recipients.  Congratulations to all!
