The Floral Park Art League is an organization made up of local artists at all levels from beginner to well established. Artist demonstrations are at all general meetings. These demonstrations are also open to non-members and are always informative and inspiring. The League also has shows where its artists can display original works of art for selling or for judging. The Art League sponsors two annual outdoor art shows and sales. These shows are held in the spring and fall in Memorial Park.

A new organization dedicated to the environment and to coordinate the efforts of the Village in developing the Nassau County storm basin property, located on Raff Avenue & Floral Parkway, into a bird sanctuary, village nursery and arboretum. The parcel of land is tentatively called "Centennial Gardens and Bird Sanctuary".

A community group founded in 1948 dedicated to supporting the Floral Park Public Library. Principal fund-raisers are the spring and year-round book sales at the library, membership dues, and the sale of promotional items. Interest in the library is promoted through special events, programs at membership meetings, and a newsletter. All funds raised are used to support library programs and services.
