A dedication to the arts and the environment is fulfilled through the efforts of our excellent organizations. They allow residents to express their creative nature, provide a showcase for local talent and give our village added exposure to the world of arts and nature.

Requirements: $20 Dues
Activities: The Floral Park Art League is an organization made up of local artists at all levels from beginner to well established. Artist demonstrations are at all general meetings. These demonstrations are also open to non-members and are always informative and inspiring. The League also has shows where its artists can display original works of art for selling or for judging. The Art League sponsors two annual outdoor art shows and sales. These shows are held in the spring and fall in Memorial Park.

Requirements: Interest in conservation and environmental beautification. A new organization dedicated to the environment and to coordinate the efforts of the Village in developing the Nassau County storm basin property, located on Raff Avenue & Floral Parkway, into a bird sanctuary, village nursery and arboretum. The parcel of land is tentatively called "Centennial Gardens and Bird Sanctuary".

Activities: The Council brings both performing and visual arts to our Village through art shows, musicals and much more.

Activities: The society was founded in December 1999 to preserve and promote the rich history of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park. We are saving the past for future generations to enjoy and appreciate. Donations of artifacts, memorabilia, photographs, and funds are most welcome.

Requirements: Resident of Floral Park
Activities: A community group founded in 1948 dedicated to supporting the Floral Park Public Library. Principal fund-raisers are the spring and year-round book sales at the library, membership dues, and the sale of promotional items. Interest in the library is promoted through special events, programs at membership meetings, and a newsletter. All funds raised are used to support library programs and services.
